About

Seed produces awesome shows for smart people.

Our content is streamed live 24 hours a day or you can subscribe to our shows individually on iTunes, Stitcher or other leading podcast and online streaming services.

Seed was founded in 2013 by Brett Haggard, Craig Rodney and Simon Dingle. These three agents provocateurs have been broadcasting online since 2004 and founded the ZA Tech Show – Africa’s longest running podcast that is now part of the Seed family.

Our shows
Seed was born of a passion for radio and online broadcasting. We aim to create a platform where creators are free to develop their own content around niche audiences and not have to worry about business – we’ll take care of that. We currently have capacity for new shows, so get hold of us if you have a content idea you’d like to get onto the Seed. You can find a list of all our shows over here and we also keep a schedule of when shows are to be broadcast live.

So is this a radio station?
Yes. Wait. No. Kind of. Seed is broadcasting for the digital age. A content network where anything is possible. We have a long history in conventional FM radio, but were also some of the first people in the world to launch podcasts and unpack the opportunities of broadcasting online. We believe that old school radio has passed its sell-by date. The future is on-demand and online. We’re figuring it out and having a ball doing so. You’re invited along for the ride.

Sponsors
Sponsorship opportunities are available for brands looking to expose themselves to the smartest audience around. We believe that Seed content attracts influencers who know what they want and are respected as thought leaders in their social and business circles. If that sounds like the kind of people you need to reach then speak to us. We will only promote products and services we believe in. For a fee.

Why Seed?
Simon Dingle’s first podcast was a show called Seedcast that was launched in 2004, focusing on underground electronic tunes. That didn’t last too long, but the name stuck, so when we developed our idea of curating awesome shows for smart people, the name Seed returned. It speaks to new beginnings, transformations and the origin of awesome things. Seeds take time to get going, but produce big strong trees once they do 😉
